Interested in getting free wifi internet at home?
The following libraries will be loaning wifi hotspots to adults over 18 who have fine-free cards and do not have internet at home. In order to get a wifi hotspot, visit the following website to sign up for a "hotspot lending event" at branches around the city:

You can always come to the East Side library to get help signing up for an event! As of 10/28/16 there are schedule “hotspot lending events” through November 16th.

In collaboration with the City Council, the New York City Department of Education is making the Office 365 ProPlus benefit available to all teachers and students – at no cost – providing them with up to five downloads of the latest versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Access and Publisher, along with anywhere, anytime access to OneDrive cloud storage.
